An Israeli SME is developing a very low-cost solar energy technology using a new generation of photovoltaic cells based on dye cell technology. The modules can be used in portable applications as well as for very low-cost off-grid requirements. The firm is looking to cooperate with other European companies for both plastic and glass designs as well as to work with other leading photovoltaic research teams in order to build and achieve higher-efficiency and longer-lasting cells.
